Project Portrait: Day 41

Day 46 of Project Portrait. Next up we have Chris Cartwright. Chris is another member of The Hatch London where I work. Part of what I’ve been learning with photography is to learn how to use spaces and small props to help add a context or visual cues for the reader. Sat right in front of me was a triangle painted on the wall. Chris is a designer so I immediately thought they went well together. The hard graphic represents his craft in an abstract kind of way. It was also a visual style used a lot by the surrealists in the 1930s, which I’ve always been a fan of. Chris also used to be in the French Foreign Legion but he’s yet to tell me about that one. 😉
